you guys have an upload link I may have missed. was going to upload at my usual" haunt but the link doesn't work.........
okay, so found a spot ( add new map ).......... but tried to upload and said only png/jpg. et.........

You are putting on the wrong place that place is for screenshots the place to put the mod is on the right side of the page.

On the right side you can upload your mapfile, in the middle/main area you can upload your screenshots.. so you probably chose the wrong upload button 
I admit the upload form is a bit messy..
Basically in the middle part of the form you fill in:
Title (name of the map, e.g. Southern France)
Map name (loading command, e.g. dm/mohdm1)
Map Description (some info if you want to give some.. not compulsory)
Screenshot (Have to be uploaded 1 by 1 unfortunately)
Creator (name of the creator, this is somewhere near the bottom)
On the right part of the form you fill in:
Map Type (tick the box that applies.. e.g. Death Match)
.Map Present for Edit (if the .map file is included yes/no)
Map Game Type (if it's playable for AA, SH and/or BT)
Map File (here you upload the actual map pk3)
Most of the other stuff you don't have/need to fill in..

Not your fault dude - mainly admins have been uploading so its not very user freindly as their are so many fields we are planning to do a tidy up to make it easier and thanks for your time and effort
