Hi all yeh been shit tonight on AAAA I have had over 40 xfire messages and over 40 PM's and 30 emails 
I could not cope tonight and nothing I could do 
Well the basics are at approx sometime around 21:00 uk time GD had a DDOS or DOS attack (for those who dont know what these are -:
DoS is "denial of service" so this would be small scale
DDoS is done from various remote machines. Hence "distributed denial of service". this would be a larger attacker big time
Tonight IMO was a DDOS here is the response from GD -:

were aware of a DDOS wich were taking steps to null, we have some new DFC cards coming for our primary routers to combat the side effects caused by these and giving you high pings apologies normal service should resume shortly

Well shit happens but this is the worst I seen from a DOS or DDOS the norm would be 30 mins we had 3 hours plus............
