AAAA Website Re boot

What we want to do now to to clean the site up and make it cleaner and give it a better layout.

Last Night Myself , Kenny and Tom got stuck in and managed to prod the site a lot and look at all the area;s we want to clean up.

Actions to be Done

• Trim down all the Menus - this has had a  lot of work done already - we now have only one top main menu. a lot of the links have not been loat but merged into other area's, one exanple is the about us which will hold AAAA Welcome, Staff List and introduction. Still looking at the MOHAA Stuff Menu on the left block but this has been reduced already. Hotlinks gone as that was just repeating options that were else where and same for user menu as all the links needed are on the main menu now.
• "About us Page" http://www.mohaaaa.co.uk/AAAAMOHAA/node/373 This is to have a complete re-write and re design.
• Site Speed - Most of the site is running a lot faster but seems the main issue is returning back to the home page 
• Forum Clean up - Lots to do here - The posters profile displays a lot of information above each post - this is going to be reduced a lot as all the info is available by clicking on the posters profile already. Their are many sub forums not being used so a lot of these will be removed.
• Clans and Server pages - Big tidy up here as we have to many server listing every where - and its hard to maintain as the server lists change a lot - Each clan already has its own server place on the Clan page http://www.mohaaaa.co.uk/AAAAMOHAA/content/clans-mohaa-mosh-mohbt
• League Page - This will be reviewed to see if we can make the design Cleaner and easier to use
• Hosting Page - This will be Reviewed and given a make over
• Maps Database - The lay out will be reviewed main index pages are clean but perhaps we can look at the map pages to make them cleaner. Uploading a map is complicated and puts people off so their will be a basic "Quick" upload giving just the required fields then an "Advanced" for adding more advanced details

• Theme - One feed back we got was that our theme is to Dark - well this was by choice and feel the txt colours work well and are clean and easy to read but some people like bright themes so the plan will be to have a choice of 3 themes. One will be this exisitng dark theme. Second will be a bright theme and third will be a concept them where all the layout is different mainly to see if we can make a better front end. To get us a head start please see themes here -: http://drupal.org/project/themes/ on the filter select "Filter by compatibility" Version 6 - Their are a few based on Fusion I have that loaded so can use them - If you can find one you like from the free ones I can see what we can do as using that as a starting point to revamp it all.

Made a start on the forum stripped up a few sub forums already - just waying up some of the others
