AAAA Website Status

Getting there - got a lot done to day will sort the rest in next few days 

~In my humble opinion it is nice and more enjoyable to be able to navigate the streets and alleyways also the crossroads after returning to the original and more sensible forum.  At my age Jon, I was finding it hard to navigate the new one because of my inability to go any further than 123/ABC. I was having better luck navigating the Rubik cube with a blindfold on.

It's a pleasure to be back home ...lol

Thanks for feed back and impressed you managed to get back on here with your id and password many have not yet but we are getting their 

I will do some more tidy up work here as deleting old stuff of no use and so on but wont be moving anything around you will be pleased t know...............

Hi Goober ok cheers - well not sure if your interested in helping with this....................

Basics are we need to manually post the guides from Xenforo site on this site (did look at porting them over but gave up) theirs not to many

So the Xenforo link is http://87.106.47.53/aaaa/resources/ We are just doing Guides and Tutorials ignore tools and that for now as they will be going into a different section on AAAA 

So they are going in herehttp://www.mohaaaa.co.uk/AAAAMOHAA/content/downloads-and-resources under http://www.mohaaaa.co.uk/AAAAMOHAA//content/guides-and-tutorials

Just click on "add a guide / Tutorial" 

On the Xenforo site download the item 

Upload the zip file as is to here on AAAA as above

Unzip the file on your PC Open the word doc version copy all 

On the main content are off the add new guide click on the editor icon that has a "W" on a clip board - if you hover over it it will say "paste from word" Its the 5th icon in after Source all this does is keep the text layout correct from microsoft word

Now then Images are not included so docs with images you will have to be uploaded  one by one. Save the image from the word doc to your desktop and then  using the image icon on the editor looks like a picture frame then click on "browse server" then scroll down and click on the folder called guides now click "upload" and upload the image dont select any sizes once uploaded double click on the image and it will insert into the doc

Check through the doc to make sure it looks clean and layout is good as it was in word doc

Please enter relevant tags on the form as well - have a go at one see how you get on

I tried adding one. I was adding the "Model List- SH"  http://87.106.47.53/aaaa/resources/model-list-sh.130/

I went through all the steps and added it. One problem is that it did not show up on the Guide and Tutorial page.

Let me know if I did it right or not. If I did it right, then I will continue to add more. But for now, I will wait for your reply.

Yeh thats fine but please post the contents of the file also into the main body - have refreshed now and its now showing not your fault a bug with my view on the DB but think I have I fixed now and have pasted the coentents into the body cheers

Ok and as Shadow said - also if you have any issue with the content give me a shout its a pain TBH but not found a better way to do it and keep nice format - still looking at embedding docs but that has major issues also.
