Ahh cool -  not done any metal detecting for years but would love to have a go again - never found anything of value but interesting stuff :)

As for quadcopters very cool I will have to start to manipulate my sons so they ask for these for Christmas lol so I can test for them :)

Did you build them as a kit or pre assembled ?

Happy shooting - Kill em ALL and kill em again

Cheers

Re: Treasure Hunters and FPV Quadcopter Flying

Plenty of stuff out there to find yet mate, just gotta put the hours in Smile

The Quadcopter i bought the controller and the quad then added the FPV gear to it and bought some fat shark attitude goggles - awesome to fly FPV, i have an indoor one and am getting a larger one made for distance/payload/endurance, defo get yer kids involved, all mine can fly it and the Mrs but 99% of the time its me Wink

This is a DJI Phantom, great machine to learn with, has GPS / Attitude and Manual modes, will fly itself back and land where it took off from if it goes out of range and is a decent camera platform, the recordings are from my gopro3 black, the FPV cam is a fat shark 600 tvl model.

If your gonna get one join an FPV Forum  like http://fpv-forum.com/index.php , second hand machines are usually a lot cheaper and come fully loaded sometimes.
