Hey guys and girls,

Most of you have probably seen me around already, especially here on AAAA working on the map database. But I never actually really introduced myself.. just to specific people.

And seeing as I still get wrongfully accused sometimes *cough*COH*cough*, I guess people should know a bit more about me.

Some general info first.. My name is Brian, 23 years old, living in Holland Smile Currently final year of my bachelor degree in Environmental Science and next year I'd like to get my masters degree in a foreign country (see the world a bit more). Next to this I also have 2 jobs.. I work in a supermarket where I'm head of the till and of most people that work behind the till. Next to that I'm also a voluntary police officer for about a year now (which also requires a eduction which I'm following 1 night per week). For people that wonder what a voluntary police officer is.. well it's actually the same as a normal police officer (same right, same uniform etc.) only you work less and don't work on big cases.. oh yeah and you get paid a lot less (you do get paid a little, seeing as there is some danger to the job).

Uhmm I started playing FPS (first person shooters) when I was little.. started with Doom 3D, onwards to Quake 1, 2, 3 and Half Life, Counterstrike.. Best game I played was still Quake 3 Arena. I've played many more shooters but they're a bit newer than MoH:AA. I made the transition between Q3 and MoH:AA demo while I was playing in an American clan ( |AoHx| ). I learned to play with pings of 150 in this clan and still manage to get the top scores. Afterwards I made a clan myself ( [SST] ), didn't last too long as I didn't really want to have all the clan stuff rest on my shoulders..

Oh the first 2 years of MoH:AA I was a all weapons player but quickly moved on to Sniper Only, just recently (this year) have I picked up a bit of all weapons again, but the Sniper is still my main weapon. I was lucky enough to join one of the best sniper clans of that time (2004) which was called United Warriors ( [(UW)] / u.warriors ). We decided to join the CB sniper ladders and in no-time managed to take the #1 spot on both ladders, which we held for a long time, untill a lot of my mates 'retired'.

A few years after this I got asked to be teamcaptain of the Sniper team of Holland for the first nation sniper cup. This was a honor for me and I quickly accepted. It's a shame that most of my old clan mates didn't play anymore, they would have loved to play in it. Still managed to get a nice elite team together and sniped down every country Smile

Though Clanbase was and still is a cheater and whiner filled league.. almost every match ended up in a conflict and I got sick of it so decided not to play on CB anymore (some rare exceptions when I was really needed to freelance..).

Ofc. DMW was the major anti-cheat at the time, and unlike almost every one I stuck to 1 dmw account, which never changed Smile (22143).

I only joined 1 clan after United Warriors, which was .:BmW:., a clan of some old english guys and girls, just having fun, how I like to see it.. They were an all weapons clan, but I got to be the sniper in every war ^^. Individually their players weren't really good.. but their teamwork was extremely impressive, the biggest players would fall just because of good teamwork.

I've been admin (and owned) several servers as well.. all 'Sniper Only V2' servers. Always very crowded and if I look back at the logs, could say that I banned over a 1000 cheaters over the years. Atm I'm admin of the: ''kamikaze. > Sniper V2 Only! - 109.72.82.26:12203''

Due to the many server crashers out there (flooding rcon mostly) I started looking for a way to stop this and finally got a hold of James and thus witnessed the beginning of xNull and the 1.12 patch. They've done excellent work and I've been lucky enough to help out where I could as mostly a tester of the patch. I've helped Joto alot with improving the scapp-host software that many admins use nowadays and got the anticham mod out there (giving simple cheaters a colored screen), it might be a easy bypassible anti-cheat but it managed to get a lot of scum banned.. I just love seeing people type ''omg my screen is green?!''.

I'm currently also working on a MoH:AA Guide, already having about 36 pages.. but it's currently on hold due to my studies.
I also started collecting maps for this guide to make a huge maplist.. never did I imagine there would be so many mohaa maps around.. and eventually I got into contact with Heatsink and we created this map database where I've almost uploaded all the maps I have (still have a few remaining).

And thus I'm trying to do a lot for the community, as it's the most awesome game ever (next to Quake 3) and I love to see it still being played for many more years to come Smile.

Oh and on a side-note: No I don't cheat and No I have never cheated before either. I eat hackers for breakfast, cause trust me, they are not difficult to kill, and I'd love to see hackers getting eaten up and shitted out by everyone so that cheats would simply dissappear from the game (my dream haha).

Uhmmm.. did I miss anything..? Maybe, well if someone has any questions please ask. I think I kinda typed enough now.. became bigger than I imagined but yeah people might have a better impression of me now.

Edit: Oh yeah I also have a youtube channel.. it includes many mohaa demo's from my old clan (United Warriors) but also a demo of the Nation Sniper Cup and 1 demo I made myself. This is the link to my vids: http://www.youtube.com/user/MysticPhobia
Most demo's are from 2004 - 2007, so the graphics are kind of shit.. a direct link to the demo I made myself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Hh9i2YZSTY&list=UU7q08Imus8NLMurAvm5QmGQ&index=11&feature=plcp
