scapp-host

Description / Purpose

The basic task of scapp-host is to control game servers.

scapp-host controls the game servers and acts as a server for the clients.
Connected clients can remote control every aspect and feature of the scapp-host.
Clients can connect to any scapp unit (clan).
scapp-host can be run as a standalone application or being connected to the scapp network.
Since the scapp-client is not available at the moment it can at the moment only be used local.
In future versions it can be run on any location (your own home pc, on the gameserver or any other server) and works on the common os (win,linux,mac).
The system can control multiple servers and is basically game independent, it can be used for any gameserver that supports rcon (depends on the implemented game protocols though, at the moment only mohaa is tested, there are more game server types choosable but its not recommended).
The system can manage mulitple scapp units with one scapp-host. A scapp unit is the generic term for clan, group, organisation or just organisation unit. Each scapp unit is independent. In future versions it is planned to have options like to control one server by multiple clans or global banning lists.
Clients can operate and admin the system/gameservers without giving them passwords.
A detailed rights system basing on freely creatable groups (e.g. admin, member, trustee, etc.) is available.

Currently using this to manage multiple servers - allows you to add custom rcon commands such as map changing and a lot more

Yeh to be honest I have not done it justice - JoTo has been working on this for years and a lot of its features are not active but in its current form its a brill admin tool Wink
